We are booked in for a jeep safari. Lets hope we get to see some wildlife.

Our driver was really helpful at pointing out the wildlife as we drove round the sanctuary. This is what we saw.

We didn’t get to see a tiger but it is the wrong time of year, however, our guide did point out some tiger tracks, we did wonder how long they had been there and whether he was just trying to make us happy 😜

Our hotel was a 2 hr drive from the sanctuary so we had to set off at 5am to get there by 7am for when they opened up to sell tickets for the jeep safari. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere and we were the only guests. A bit wierd at first but we got used to it. The staff were lovely, their English was limited and we had to order our evening meal by 5pm and when we did arrive at the restaurant at the agreed time it was another 40 minutes before any food arrived. However, the food was delicious so we didn’t complain. Well actually there was no one to complain to, there wasn’t anyone on reception the whole time we were there. Only the 2 gardeners who carried our luggage and cut the grass and served our food!! It was very tranquil in the forest but a bit odd.

Just us in the dining room. So very alone!

There are some more videos to load on here but the WiFi just isn’t playing ball. Hey ho.
Off to Kochi next
