Michelin starred Le Champignon Sauvage

Michelin starred Le Champignon Sauvage

We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary by having a wonderful lunch at a 2 starred Michelin restaurant in Cheltenham called Le Champignon Sauvage, run by David Everitt-Matthias, who formerly worked for Gordon Ramsey.

It’s very unassuming from the outside, on quite a busy road and parking is about a 4 minute walk away. But once you’re inside it’s a little haven, an oasis of calm.

The ‘amuse bouche’ was really tasty.

I started with pate, which was amazing, I then had the venison, followed by a a delicious dessert.

The trouble was I got so caught up in eating I forgot to take photos !!! Until I got to the pudding stage. 🙂

All in all it was a lovely afternoon and later that day we made our way to Heathrow airport to fly off to Antigua, Guatemala for a holiday.

Hi I'm Kaz, I am very happy that I no longer need to work and loving my life now I can choose what I want to do and when. Me and my hubby are lucky enough to own a motorhome so we like to travel quite extensively. Our adventure continues.
